Saturday Schedule 

  • 4:00pm-6:00pm: Registration and Packet Pick-up at the Beachfront

Sunday Schedule

  • 5:30am-8:15am: Registration and Packet Pick-up at the Beachfront*
  • 5:30am-8:15am: Transition Check-in for all Races*
  • 6:45am: All Duathlons Start Following a Brief Pre-Race Meeting*
  • 7:00am: 5k Open Water Swim & â…“ Iron Tri, Aquabike & Aquathlon Start Following a Brief Pre-Race Meeting*
  • 7:15am: 1500m & 3k Open Water Swim & OLY Tri, Aquabike & Aquathlon Start Following a Brief Pre-Race Meeting*
  • 7:30am Sprint Tri, Aquabike & Aquathlon Start Following a Brief Pre-Race Meeting*
  • 8:00am: Beginner Triathlon Start Following a Brief Pre-Race Meeting*
  • 8:30am: Open Run 5k, 10k and 9.3 mile Start Following a Brief Pre-Race Meeting*
  • 12:30pm: Timing Ends, All Athletes must have completed the race.* 

    *NOTES:

    • Dayton Triathlon has transition and registration open through the kids races. Adult timing ends at 12:00pm. Kids races start at 12:15pm, and timing ends at 1:30pm. 
    • Please note that at the Zoom RedHawk Tri (Hueston Woods), all races start 15min later. We need more sunlight in September! 

    Race Start Details

    We are going to use a wave start for the races, but there is plenty of space to spread out if you want to maintain social distance. Here are the starting details:

    • There will first be a brief pre-race meeting or you can review all the information in the athlete guide and race website for more information. You may also ask questions of our staff as needed on race day, or email or call us with questions in advance of the race. 
    • All races will start at the beachfront, with the exception of the Duathlons and Open Runs, which start at the Run Out area of Transition, which starts at Bike Out in the transition area.
    • Races will start in waves in the water. Please arrive at your designated time.
